If there’s one thing I love most in this world it’s vases, vessels, and urns. I think that every home needs a vessel or two. They are perfect for making a statement and displaying stems and branches. I’m always adding vases and vessels to my design and clients’ homes so I have seen my fair share. This is my favorite thing to add to a home because it brings a home to life, and adds nature and texture. A couple of twigs in a vase have a lot of power.
Vessels can be found at every home decor store but if you want to set your home apart from everyone else’s, go for vintage pieces. Vintage pieces are unique and you most likely won’t find the same piece in your neighbor’s home.

Sourcing the Unique
I would start by exploring Chairish. Although it’s pricy, you’ll find some amazing pieces from this store.
You could also take a look at Etsy and Ebay. All of the keywords above will work on both of these platforms! Etsy is filled with amazing vessels of your dreams and they are never-ending.
Here are some of Etsy shops I found in my search for all things unique vessels:
Websites:
Don’t Stop There!
You can also check out local flower shops, thrift stores, estate sales, yard and garage sales, antique shops, and flea markets. Always look when you go to a new city, especially if you are traveling overseas, you never know what you might find!
Some Things to Keep in Mind
If you’re looking to get genuine antique vessels, keep in mind that they may not be suitable for water; therefore, you might have to opt-out for fresh-cut branches and settle for faux stems instead. I promise this will look just as amazing!
I wanted to wish you luck in your search and remember to have fun with it!
Until next time.
