When someone says art in the kitchen you may be thinking of still live oil paintings of fruit, cooking utensils, or pots and pans. I promise you won’t be breaking any design rules if you add other forms of art to your kitchen. I’ve put together a round up of art you could include in your kitchen as well as kitchen art inspiration.
Still Life Art
You can’t go wrong with still life art in the kitchen. This is also the best room to place still art because, well, it makes the most sense.
Landscape Art
I love placing landscape art in the kitchen, especially because it is unexpected. A beautiful snapshot of a lake surrounded by trees may be just what tour kitchen may need to liven it up a bit. If your kitchen doesn’t get much sunlight or if you don’t have the best kitchen window view, consider adding some landscape art.
Modern and Abstract Art
Modern and abstract art looks just as amazing in the kitchen! Just like landscape art, abstract art in the kitchen is unexpected and that’s what I love about it the most.
I hope these roundups help you choose the best art for your kitchen.
Until next time!
