I forgot about how much I love neutrals! I love neutrals because they will always look amazing no matter how many different shades you include. I love the clean and calm look. The Scandinavian interior design style is one of my favorites and it’s a win-win because this style uses neutral and pale colors.
The Inspiration
I wanted to stick to my last two designs’ themes of simplicity and serenity. This design all started with these gorgeous accent chairs from France and Son. I love the shape of these chairs and the color wood.
The Color Palette
Although this color palette is plain and simple, I added a bit of color with the dried stems. This added some subtle color which have the design some dimension. I chose this because it adds character to the space while also staying with the same color palette
The Furniture and Décor
My favorite piece in this design is the wall decor from Crate and Barrel. I love its unique design and its even more unique material of volcanic debris from the 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philipines. How cool!
My next favorite piece in this design is the rug. I love the colors and design of this rug and how well it perfectly completes the design. Its distressed look adds character to the space.
I used decorative accents with various shades of neutral to keep to the color palette but I did want to add a touch of color, this is why I chose to add artificial grass in an eggplant color to the vase on the table. I love that this addition gives a bit of color to the design but it also matches the rest of the decor and furniture.
